    Hi @Teodor

Try to follow the below steps.

    1. Press Ctrl + D to turn off OS verification.
    2. When prompted to turn OS verification off, press Enter and the Chromebook will restart.
    3. At the OS verification is OFF screen, do not press the spacebar. The recovery process will start automatically after approximately 15 seconds.
    4. The restore process takes about 5 minutes. A progress bar appears at the top of the screen.
    5. The Chromebook restarts and prompts to re-enable verification. Press the spacebar.
    6. Press Enter to confirm that you wish to turn OS verification on.
    7. OS verification is back on and Chromebook reboots automatically.
    8. The "Welcome!" screen will be displayed and you can complete the on screen instructions.
Hope it will help you in some way.

What if I create a recovery drive for the chromebook? I have a Windows PC aswell and an 16GB USB flash drive.

Either way should work, you are just trying to rebuild the stock ChromeOS image on the drive...
