Hello,
I got two Monitors of ACER, both are a QG271. I bought them not at the same time.
So, the older one has no problems, I can install the drivers and it shows as a QG271 also in the configuration.
The other one is not been detected as a QG271 but as a PnP Monitor, after some investigation there is a difference between them.
The older one is mention as a
ARC06FA as hardware ID (as QG271 monitor)
The newer one is mention as a
ARC079F as hardware ID (as PnP monitor)

The driver is this one:

(this is a part of it...)
[ControlFlags]
ExcludeFromSelect.NT=Monitor\ACR06FA
[DestinationDirs]
DefaultDestDir = 12
QG271.copyfiles = 23
[SourceDisksNames]

[SourceDisksFiles]
QG271.icm=1
[Manufacturer]
%ACR%=ACR,NTx86,NTAMD64
[ACR]
%QG271%=QG271.Install, Monitor\ACR06FA
[ACR.NTx86]
%QG271%=QG271.Install, Monitor\ACR06FA
[ACR.NTAMD64]
%QG271%=QG271.Install, Monitor\ACR06FA
As you can see, only the ARC06FA (the older one) is mentioned.
Support is not really helping me, even I point out there must be a newer driver.
So, anyone can help me out on this one?
Thanks in advantage!
