Is it safe to have 90-95 degrees of CPU Temp while gaming on Predator Helios 300 PH315-53-76HS?

I sometimes use PredatorSense to monitor my temperatures while gaming and I noticed that I am reaching 90-95 degrees on my CPU while playing red dead redemption 2 and I'm scared that it might damage the system. Should I return this unit and report for cooling issues?

generally components are safe under 85 max 90 but as RDR2 is a CPU and GPU demanding game temp may rise but i suggest you to make two thermocol block and place under your laptop it will help in better air flow so the temperature will be reduced . I have myself tested it and it works , also check your driver updates in nvidea geforce exp. thanks

What is a thermocol block? I already have a laptop cooling pad under but I think it doesn't help that much.

u have to reduce the cpu Ghz to 3.0 at least,,, the issue is the CPU goes to 3.8 to 4.5 so the temperature goes up...

It is not good in the long run. You have to try undervolting your cpu first. For most users this will solve the problem, even then if it heats, you have to repaste it. If its under warranty you can take it to acer else I would suggest doing it by yourself.

It is not good in the long run. You have to try undervolting your cpu first. For most users this will solve the problem, even then if it heats, you have to repaste it. If its under warranty you can take it to acer else I would suggest doing it by yourself.

I tried undervolting it using Intel XTU and Throttlestop but all the options are locked out and I think its due to the bios update where they locked every option to overclock/undervolt.

I do not want to open it myself because it will void the warranty. I've been using this laptop for only 6 months. Should I have it re-pasted to the service centers?

Hmmm, this one you should go to the YouTube ,, just write (optimize windows for games) u will get more result,,, but don't reduce the cpu clock from the power plan it's not worth at all for the gaming maybe you can use it for something else
