Is it possible to move/copy a: C drive to a new drive where it can boot and function just like the old drive? I'm trying to upgrade from an HDD( 500GB) to a smaller SSD( 250GB), my system files and everything else on the HDD are smaller than 250GB, so I'm hoping I can move everything to SSD and use that as my boot drive. Thanks

Acer Aspire xc-605
Specs:
G3320 CPU
GTX 620 GPU
500 GB HDD
Maximum Power Output
220W

Did I answered you question before? I thought you have the problem resolved.

Since you want to clone from a larger drive to a smaller one, I would suggest you to use the Win 10 system image restore method. That may need an additional hard drive to do it but highly reliable.
Most people probably have some old SATA HDDs from their old PCs, if not, you may need an external HDD for it.

Burn a system image to this additional drive first.
     Take out old HDD.
Connect the additional drive with image on it, connect the new SSD too.
Use ALT+F10 or ALT+Fn+F10 when bootup and get to the restore menu.
Go to Advance section, restore from image. That may take one hour.
Don' forget F9 and F10 before SSD boot.

Yea sorry, I was having a problem with booting up at all on the first question. Now I'm trying to move everything from the old drive to the new one! But I got it fixed now, thanks!
