Alright, I'm rather desperate. I work at a bar and in two days, we're hosting a soccer match broadcast via the web (match is streamed from browser so will have to use computer). Our Acer H7530 (I think, can't find model nr) projector is no longer recognizing computers via HDMI however. I'm at a loss for what to do. Here are some facts:
- The configuration is HDMI to Ethernet to HDMI to PC (HDMI to DVI adapter into gfx card), to cover the distance between projector and PC (~10 meters)
- The projector is ceiling mounted
- If I plug the HDMI into our Digital decoder instead of the PC, it receives television signal just fine, we can still broadcast HD television on the beamer.
- When we connect a laptop to the projector via VGA, it works just fine. This is not an option however since the distance is too big and we have to use our own PC
- We've tried several PCs with HDMI ports, all give the same issue.
- The funny thing is, when we boot a PC, there's image of the BIOS loading and all that, it shows the Windows start up screen, but once inside Windows the signal is lost.
- So to sum up: when trying to project image from a PC via HDMI within Windows OS, the beamer's not getting a signal.
Is there any solution to this? Thanks in advance.
