Any 2.5" Sata drive SHOULD work; so if you are after speed; you'd really want to put a 2.5" Sata SSD (something like a Crucial MX500/Samsung EVO) in.  (Worth doing some research here as all SSD are not equal; albeit you won't notice much difference between a good and very good one in most cases via SATA, but you might notice the difference between a bad one and a decent one - as the bad one may slow down a lot when nearly full etc)

If you're after capacity, a 2TB+ 5400/7200RPM drive. Depends on your performance, capacity and price requirements.

Which PO5 model do you have? There have been several, and the storage support is different on different models. Most have at least some M.2 support, which you could use for a faster SSD than the Easy Swap bay will give you.
