Strange interaction between and universal USB docking station when in sleep mode - SA5-271

Hi there,

Is there anything specific about how the SA5-271 goes into sleep mode?

I've had an SA5-271 (personal use) for years that works well (very occasional hard reboot needed).

One thing that's been bugging me is that when using it with a Plugable universal USB-C docking station (where I have dual monitors, external Web cam and Ethernet), I invariably need to power cycle the docking station if the SA5 goes to sleep for a long period of time otherwise only one of the monitors will turn back on properly (even though Windows still 'recognizes' it).

When connecting my work laptop (first a Lenovo X1, then a Dell something, now a Lenovo T14) into the same docking station the issue does not happen: when the work laptop "wakes up", both monitors come back up properly.

Anything I should be looking into? Running W10Home build 19042.928.

Many thanks!!!

Verify the drivers for the docking station are updated on your Acer to the same version as on the others...
