I have purchased this Acer Nitro XV272U monitor 4 months ago and now when there is a black screen the pixels start flickering for randomly and doesn't even stop. I'm seeing this whenever there something pure black appears on my screen. Be it windows settings, youtube black video or photoshop solid black colour. This happening only with pure black video other colours are fine. Can anyone tell me what this thing is called and how should I fix it?

I haven't overclocked my gpu / cpu / ram etc. everything stock and it's connected with a good display port cable. it's set to 1440p 144Hz

Attaching the youtube link to showcase my problem - https://youtu.be/DpY2CYQbrDI

    Hi chetan_666,

Try to adjust the cables connected to the unit.

Is it happen only when you get the black screen or it happens randomly.

My monitor is ACER NITRO XV272UKV and i have the same problem.
When refresh rate is set to 144hz, 165hz or 170hz i have those green, blue, red pixels/subpixels flashing on black background. At 170hz i have also gray strips flickering....
When set to 120hz everything is OK.

Have you RMA your monitor? Did acer fix this issue?

    Hello,
Have you found a way to fix this pixel problem?

Have you tried turning off "Freesync"? I think it helps me.
