Just got back to playing Apex Legends and the laptop shuts down randomly when playing.
Used to play about half a year ago on the same laptop and I never had any issues with it.
It completly shuts down, no bluescreen and no memorydumps. Then its really slow to start up again if I try to restart it immediatly.
I have the latest Nvidia drivers.
Only difference now compared to then is that im using an ethernet cable for network connection instead of Wifi.
Checking the temperature in Nitrosense the CPU is around 90 and can go up to 100 so Im suspecting its a heat issue?

Then do you have any knowledge about cleaning laptop fans, air vents and applying new thermal paste?
Stock thermal paste that acer applied is dries out now. Need to replace with new thermal paste and also need to clean fans and air vents.
Now if you play games your system CPU/GPU temperatures will go high and will reduce your laptop life span.
(I recommend you to don't play games in this situation)
If you can't do it yourself then you need to visit acer service center for this.
Doing is yourself is also risky if you don't have knowledge about this.

I applied new thermal paste to it (and bought a laptop cooling platform) and now it maxes out at 76 degrees, much better :)
    Thanks!
