Swift 3 (SF314 56 ) stays blank for some time after restart

Hi,

I have an issue with my Swift 3 (SF314 56 series), it won't start anymore, just lights on the screen and the keyboard LEDs, but else nothing else happens, no acer logo, no windows, just a black screen. And then it will start at any random time, I would come check and it would be on, and everything is fine, all works perfectly. Until I have to restart it for some reason or it runs out of power, and then I have to wait for it to magically start after some time (from hours to weeks) again.

I don't see any way to predict or change anything to it. I've tried holding the power button for a while to unload everything, waiting, I've tried the battery reset thing, I've let it run out of battery, tried to keep it fully charged. It just only will sometimes accept to start.

Is there anything I could do besides sending it to warranty ?

what is the version of the bios? version 1.14 corrects something related to the DPTF and also mentions some correction for the configuration of the battery control.

# Power drain,

1)Unplug the AC power adapter.

2)Press and hold the Power button down until the unit goes off.

3)Search for a pinhole on the backside of your laptop, insert a small paperclip in the battery reset pinhole, press and hold it down for 25 seconds. Then release the paperclip and try to turn on the unit and check.

So to answer both of you: yes, my BIOS is the 1.14 version. And I've tried these tricks with the pinhole and stuffs, sometimes it works sometimes not.
