I have a Nitro 7 AN715-51 but sometimes the battery will stop charging and it will just say "plugged in" only. I first tried a different power cord and this didn't help. But what I found is that if I unplug the battery in the laptop after opening the bottom case and plug it back in that this reset is enough to fix this issue, I find that it is a recurring issue however and I don't know why it is happening.

The charging adapter is in good condition, I checked the health of the battery in powershell it is also performing well. What could be the problem causing this?

This sometimes happens when the system is under heavy gaming or program load demand that exceeds the output power of the charger. At those times, the battery must help supply the additional power needed and thus won't be charging
