Acer Nitro AN515-54 series won’t turn on, keyboard lights up for a second

The laptop worked fine yesterday, woke up tried to turn it on and the keyboard lights up for a second and then goes off.
I’ve tried to reset the battery, this model doesn’t have a pinhole reset button so I held the power down for 12-15 seconds, waited the 15 minutes and still nothing.

I’ve swapped outlets, while charging the light stays orange for a good 20 minutes then goes blue. I left it charging overnight still nothing. My warranty has run out and I don’t have the funds to renew it. What are my options, or how can I manually reset/drain the battery if i pop the back off?

You don`t need to drain the battery as you already reset it, when you open the back cover check the connections between power jack and MB and MB and battery, check the KB flex cable as well.

    Hi EasyE2001,

    # Try to get the BIOS page.
    1. Turn OFF the unit.
    2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit.
    3. You will be in setup utility page.
    4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.
    5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    7. Your unit will restart by itself.

Check this T/S and post the result.
