How do i get the camera working Acer aspire 5517

Im on windows 10,the camera doesn't appear even on device manager,please help i created this account only to ask this

It might help to reveal your full ACER model number. For example, A515-54g. Jack E/NJ

Hi pleasehelpwithcamera,

# Try to get the BIOS page.

1. Turn OFF the unit.

​2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit. 
3. You will be in setup utility page.
4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.
5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
7. Your unit will restart by itself. 

Check this T/S and post the result.

Acer aspire 5517,"sealed away" for quite some time,recovered from shelf last year. Flashed windows 10 on the thing. I completely forgot about that,when i made this post i had spent more than 8 hours trying to fix it.

OK. This happens often when trying to run Win10 on a Win7 era machine. Do you see any red or yellow warnings anywhere in Device Manager? If none, you should downloard, unzip and try to install the two camera Win7 drivers  from this link. Jack E/NJ
