Yes, the Aspire Z3-715 supports two internal drives. They are both 2.5" drives, the same type that are often found in laptops. The access isn't all that bad, take the stand off and there are three screws along the bottom of the case you remove. From there you use a pry tool to gently disconnect the two case halves apart and once that back cover is gone it's easy to see the two HDD mounts. You can put HDDs in or SSDs, and SSDs will be significantly faster if you put the OS on one. I'm assuming you have a single HDD and the ODD right now? Just install a SSD as the second drive, then clone the first drive to the second. Boot from the SSD and once that's working you can wipe the original drive and repurpose it as a data drive for the system.

Looking at a bit of a teardown ( https://youtu.be/-DCGH_pWxNI?t=52 ) it doesnt look like there are any spare slots or headers for an extra drive :(

Yes, as long as they aren't something like SAS drives instead of SATA. :)
