Hi I'm using an Acer Spin 7 SP714-51-MOZT.

SSD died last month and has been replaced and was working fine for a few weeks.

This morning, the laptop froze and a blue screen came with an updside down smiley face = error need to restart, which it did automatically.
After that the Secure Boot padlock appeared. I've managed to disable that now but after restarting the Acer logo appears and I cant get past it.
Also tried switching to legacy but got a message saying no bootable device found.
I can still access the BIOS and I can see my harddrive.

I'd appreciate some ideas on what to try next?

I've got some assignments critical work on there that needs submitting if I can get access again.
Thanks in advance
Xmun

Try booting on a Windows install flash drive and use the Repair option to get a command prompt, then diskpart to see what partitions are on the disk. It sounds like the EFI partition isn't being read correctly.
