I'm pulling my hair out.  Sounds stopped working from speakers but works ok with headphones.  Aspire 5 model.  I have uninstalled speakers & sound card and updated drivers but still no change.  Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Hi RichardAuras,

    # Try to update the keyboard driver

    1. Hold windows key and hit letter X.
    2. Choose the device manager option.
    3. Go with the option sound,video and game controllers.
    4. Under that title ---->
    Fix Windows 10 Realtek High Definition Audio Driver Issue - Driver Easy
    5. Right click on that option ----> Update driver.
    6. Choose "search automatically".

    Right click speaker icon in tray. Click sound settings. Click sound control panel in right pane. Click playback tab. Click speakers to make them checked on. Jack E/NJ
