Hi,

I've got a new aspire coming and had some questions.

Which or how much TDP is the Acer Aspire A515-44-R8RH? AMD say it's 15 but depends on the manufacturer... So could be more like upto 25??
Also how is the cooling on these? Do they overheat?

Thank you

    I'm sure that AMD does not encourage trying to under- or over-volt the Ryzen 4000u series. Neither does ACER. Doesn't mean you can't try to do it anyway.  :)   Jack E/NJ

    Sorry, specifications are 15w power litmit only for all models. Trying to force higher power use will cause unacceptable heat issues. Jack E/NJ

    Okay, so it doesn't fluctuate at all? Is always capped at 15w? Even when naturally boost clocking to 4ghz?

    Okay, do you know if ryzen controller will work for undervolting on this model? I haven't got the laptop just yet so would be great to know if it's locked like Intel 10th gen (plundervolt) etc before I get it!

    Thanks @JackE

    It's for the 4500u. I tried but not much info!
    Did see you couldn't overclock as "multiplier was locked" but many processors are overclocking locked but can still undervolt...

    So your not sure?

    @JackE thanks for your help!
