    Hi Shanu55,

    # Try to get the BIOS page.
    1. Turn OFF the unit.
    2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit.
    3. You will be in setup utility page.
    4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.
    5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    7. Your unit will restart by itself.

Check this T/S and post the result.

So thats a bad one to try and diagnose as it just means "something" which is loaded into the kerenel has had a problem. In event viewer is there any logs around the time of the crash?

Most likley its a bad driver

There are tools that will look at the dump file to give more details as to the faulting application...

Roll back the video drivers to stock ACER drivers and DO NOT update them via Windows Update.  Search for other threads on this for more details.

(see Acer Swift 3X SF314-510G BSOD Problem — Acer Community).  ACER - please fix this!  This and also (thanks to Laksamanafadianzr for the last 3):

    1. BSOD occurring intermittently/unpredictably with anything other than stock ACER XE/XE MAX drivers (i.e. all iterations of the Intel XE/XE MAX drivers, up to and including those dated Feb 2021/released March 2021).  This happens at anytime - desktop, office apps, games; with or without external display

    2. With stock ACER drivers - if running external display via USB-C, the laptop runs extremely hot when gaming (e.g. Warthunder), frame rates struggle, and the game app crashes unpredictably.

    3. With stock ACER drivers and USB-C display DIS-connected - laptop runs much cooler, frame rates are much better, but crashing in-game continues (can be 5-15 minutes in - i.e. tends not to be immediate)

    4. Some games such as COD WW2 and fenyx rising will experience frame drops every second when using Acer stock driver

    5. Some apps and games such as Android Studio JRE emulator Horizon will crash immediately on loading or initialization when Acer driver stock is used

    6. Some graphic anomaly will occur in OBS recorder when Intel XE max is activated regardless of the driver. The anomal will look like a broken TV or black screen

Are you running a fully up-to-date version of Windows? Mine came with a version of Windows that BSODs a lot unless I update Windows (it was a known issue with that particular version of Windows). Remember that every time you reset your PC, you are going to have to play catch up on Windows updates again.

Open up Care Center, click on My System, and tell me what it says next to BIOS version.

Make sure all your hardware drivers are up to date. Many drivers were updated as of October of last year... if you've never updated the drivers manually from the Acer Support website, you're not up to date on them.

Hey Shanu55, I recommend for the “Stop code – system thread exemption not handled” that you perform a startup repair with the Installation USB or DVD, if you don’t have one? Then Download tool now for the “Create Windows 10 installation media” then boot your system with that Windows 10 Installation Media into the “Repair your computer” Troubleshoot > Click on Advanced Options > then click on Startup Repair, see if that fixes the problem and get back to us.
