I've seen Crucial RAM available to upgrade from 8gb to 32gb but have also seen this model has soldered in place, before opening can anyone please confirm? Got the BSOD last night after running a few apps at the same time. If not RAM any other suggested upgrades available like SSD or CPU?
Thanks!

I think this just has soldered ram on the underside

Its not possible to upgrade the CPU either as its soldered onto the board. The SSD could be changed out for a higher capacity one if you wanted, however i will let one of the ACE's confirm the specs as there seems to be lots of conflicting information about if its Sata, or NVMe!

@cjs14 as @Leostat says, the memory and processor are soldered to the motherboard on the SP314-51 models. The SSD is an M.2 SATA drive and NVMe drives are not officially supported, even though it's on a PCIe x4 bus. It's possible someone has gotten a specific NVMe to work, but I wouldn't assume that will be the case for you if you decide to upgrade the SSD. I'd stick with SATA to be safe.
Now to the BSOD... Next time you see it try to take a picture, it's unlikely that it was caused by low memory and much more likely that one of the drivers is ... less robust that it ought to be.
