Acer predator helios 300 underperforming + overheating.

I have purchased the predator variant with RTX 2060 I7-10750H for gaming. However, with the windows and Nvidia GPU driver updates, my GPU is performing terribly. The FPS keep dropping from 300 to 60 in CSGO, I was not even receiving 100fps on such a great RIG. Then I get Steam VAC connection INSECURE ERROR from past 4months I am not able to play CSGO, been deranked. I have even uninstalled the latest version of NVIDIA DRIVERS AS THEY WERE UNSTABLE. My only concern is, which version of NVIDIA gpu driver are suitable for csgo, microsoft flight simulator and xplane11, WW2K20 as these are the only games I play/simulate. I am exhausted searching solution from past 1 week. I even tried to install 388 version of NVIDIA driver which isn't letting me install because its way outdated. I installed 471 which is pathetic, and 451/457 version which gets my GPU clock stuck at 1005MHZ, I was having 10FPS in a simulator, my OLD CPU with FX 8320 and AMD radeon 1GB gpu had given me 12FPS 1GB graphic card performed better than the NVIDIA RTX 2060. I really need a good solution I am getting tired, it's only a  6month old laptop and it's already troubling me.

Yes Im asuring most people are having this issue with predator laptops. Your laptop automatically uses the discreted intel graphics card not using the nvidia graphics card. You must turn of optimus which most laptops have in them. The only way to bypass this is to buy a usb-c to hdmi and connect it to a monitor than  press win + p and show second screen only than your laptop should be using the nvidia graphics card. You need a monitor! You can also try buy updating bios and getting the newest firmware for the nvidia card and see if that works if that dosent work i reccomend solution 1.

Alper247 well i just want to add to your replay and try to explain that only a few manufacturers have a mux switch that allows disabling optimus but only in their higher tier gaming laptops and these are the ones above 3000 usd  etc all other gaming laptops with optimus cannot be disabled in any way when using the internal display  as theres no mux switch neither any option in the bios to do so its a permanent setting and of course what u just said by using the hdmi/dp port with an external display  it will always use the dgpu only the igpu will only be used with the internal display all external displays use the dgpu directly if properly connected to the hdmi/dp ports also to remind not most laptops have optimus usually only the 2070/2080/3070/3080 max-Q dgpus those are the ones that have optimus enabled all max-P dgpus dont have it and this is only for laptops with rtx 2000 and above series the all gtx  dgpu series never had any optimus so meaning only from 2019 and above
