Why Cheap Systems Run 32-bit UEFI on x64 Systems

    As noted in your other thread, the main problem with the cheaper hardware running any 64-bit Windows vs 32-bit is the RAM limitation of their mainboards, not their CPU. 64-bit OS work best with 4GB or more RAM.  Accordingly, if you force install 64-bit OS on hardware with these RAM limitations, the system will be slower or grind to a halt. On 4GB RAM systems, 64-bit Win8x & Win10 both consume about 2GB RAM just to load the OS without anything else running.  Jack E/NJ
