Any idea why my battery died, then came back two days later? - Aspire E5 576g

Acer Aspire E5 576g laptop, 2 years old

I replaced the battery with a new OEM battery from Newegg (Computer Warehouse is the vendor). I installed it myself and had no difficulty. It worked perfectly for a month and then died suddenly two days ago with 3/4 charge and 8hrs estimated left. I plugged it in and it showed "0% plugged in" and the orange battery light flashed. I removed the battery, reset it holding the power button for one minute and also used the reset button on the bottom of the laptop. I reinstalled the battery and while it did power on and functions as long as it is connected to the outlet, the battery still didn't work and showed it was not charging. 

Today, I plugged it in and it started charging again.
Any ideas as to why it wouldn't work immediately after the reset and reinstall but would work now? 
Should I trust this battery?

Because of the over charging of the battery the static energy on the unit will stop few things not to work, once the battery is drained it will staring functioning well, i guess same happened with your laptop as well.
