Acer DM431k 43" monitor input settings issue

For the stated monitor, whenever I switch back and forth between DP and HDMI1 it resets all the picture settings. This is time consuming, and very annoying. I work from home and I double up on playing PS5 on the monitor as well as use the PC to work on the same monitor. So I switch a lot. 

Any help would be great. If this is an issue that cannot be addressed, then I wi be returning the monitor as this is definitely a deal breaker.

    As a follow up, I reached out to livechat support. They informed me this was not an issue, and that is what I have to do every time I switch between inputs. 

    I can't even understand how Acer thought this was able to go on the market with this "lack of a feature". I will be contacting the place where I got the monitor and returning this monitor. 

    I will also be doing reviews where I can to warn others of this issue.
