Does the USB-C port of the swift 1 (sf113-31-P2CP) support DisplayPort 1.2 Alt-Modus and PD 2.0 ?

I bought a Lenovo M14T Dislpay and want to connect with USB-C, but the Display does not work.
It seems that the USB-C needs to have a certain specification:
DisplayPort 1.2 Alt-Modus und PD2.0

Does anyone know anything about this?

Thanks,

Chris

Are you sure Jack22? In the manual it suggests the model doesnt support it ( https://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Document/User Manual W10/User Manual W10_Acer_2.0_A_A.pdf?acerid=636437336093976168&Step1=ULTRA-THIN&Step2=SWIFT&Step3=SF113-31&OS=ALL&LC=en&BC=ACER&SC=PA_6  ) , on pages 11 and 54. Normally in the manual it would state if it supported Alt mode

Hello guys, thanks a lot for your prompt response.
In the specification of the ThinkVision Display M14T it states: 2 x USB 3.2 Type-C (DP1.2 Alt Mode)
and in the Acer Swift 1 Spec: USB 3.1 Type C, Gen1
And I assume this is the problem, that the USB-C (output of the Acer Swift 1) is simply to old ?!
Do you think I could use the HDMI Output and then use a converter of some type to get the USB-C 3.2 (DP 1.2 Alt Mode) ?

    Sincerely,
    Christoph

Its not that its too old its just not impletemented, You should be able to use converters to get the display, Its suggested that HDMI to B085YBR936 to B081VK1KHV to the monitor should work, but you most likley wont have touch (you may do as they are both active adapters but id be supprised)

Yes, Acer is usually pretty good about blurbing the features if they are there. The SF113-31 has USB-C Gen 1 and no mention of video over USB-C, so you need a dock to connect a monitor.

Understood, but a dock is going to work, because the Lenovo M14T only has USB-C inputs, therefore Would need a hub that takes the HDMI as an input coming from the aber and then would have a real USB-C output with all the video and alt mode functionality. Does such a doc exist? And would the Touch Function of the Lenovo Screen work, I kind of doubt it.

With active adapters maybe but I would be supprised if it did

I would be surprised if you were able to get that to work at all, but as Leo suggests there might be an active adapter out there that gives video signal over a USB-C from a dock... I've not seen one though.
