DO WITH THIS BIOS DOWN  LOAD : 01. Fixed After Windows 8 shutdown and replace memory DIMM, the first S3 will be fail.
02. Updated nVidia VBIOS to EA70-BM_N15VGM_900MHz_75.17.87.00.1B

Version:1.05 Vendor: Acer Size: 3.5 MB . WHAT DO I DO WITH IS PART OF THE DISCRIPTION?  replace memory DIMM, the first S3 will be fail. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND SHOULD I REPACE IT WITH THE SAME TYPE OF MEMEROY (Standard Memory 4 GB ) OR A BIGGER MEMORY , I NEED TO KNOW IF I SHOULD     UPGRADE TO 6 MG OR 8 MG , AND WHAT IS ( The first S3 will be fail) MEAN ?   IF THIS IS GONNA SOLVE MY PROBLEM,? THANK YOU

My suggestion to you CaseyBaker is this, don’t do an UPGRADE to Win-10 from Win-8.1, backup all your personal files from your old Windows 8.1 then do a "Clean Install of Win-10" with a complete format of the hard drive and use this Download tool now < from this link and then “Create Windows 10 installation” with the "MediaCreationTool20H2" to a USB (do this setup Windows installation USB with your existing Win-8.1 OS on your Aspire ES1-711 so that it will setup the appropriate bios settings for your USB Windows installation USB) and once in the Win-10 installation insert the Win-8.1 key (yes the key will work and will register your new Win-10, if you have a Win-8.1 key then you will be updated to Win-10 Pro) then, let Microsoft reference the key to their registration of your account so that it will give you a “Windows is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account’ (see caption below as that registration was done from a laptop with Win-8.1 to Win-10 Pro) also, go to this link “Activate Windows 10” to learn more of how to and what do do, so that you will be registered.

Also, I suggest that you ugrade the ram to max 8GB for your ES1-711, that can take a max of 8GB into its 1 slot (1 bank of 1) for ram, it can take a 1x 8GB DDR3L-1600 SODIMM or even DDR3-1800MHz type ram and also I would recommend upgrading to a 2.5” SSD hard drive of SATA-3 6GB/sec as that is essential  if you haven't got one. Btw, the ES1-711 has a chipset of the Intel N & J type.

With the bios, I would update the bios once Win-10 is installed and up to date to the last Aspire ES1-711 bios version: 1.08 dated 2016/02/03, be careful when updating bios. After the bios update you can do the Intel graphics update and all the Acer obsolete drivers that Win-10 hasn’t updated for the ES1-711 from the Acer Support page. Note:  take all appropriate precautions as “Upgrading your system BIOS incorrectly could harm your Acer product. Please proceed with caution” and never have a power outage, don't run any software while you do a bios update, disable anti virus also.

ThankYou STEVENGEN!!! Updating Win 8.1 to Win 10 with a 64-bit begetts UPDATE FAILURES! And there seems to b no solution.
So, Steven is correct, just  flatout fresh install Win 10 on Acer Aspire E17 64-bit!
I usually run  multiple partitions to separate the  operating system from PageSys files and Personal Documents. This makes  it run a little better, faster. Back in the day 2000 AD, i'd screw in a 2nd 40gig drive to  place the Pagesys file on..  YUP! those old cheap computers would run 30perent faster.  and this is evidence that Microsoft is super cool kinda tho never have had the puzzle put together fully.
