Acer Aspire 5 A515-52G-547K M.2 slot compability ?

Hi , im currently want to change my M.2 SSD to a higher amount of storage and looking for an upgrade. It seems like the slot can be inserted with a M.2 NVME but I dont actually know since my current one is M.2 sata.

If I can upgrade it to NVME , what is the speed cap for my laptop can handle ?

Is it okay If put like 1tb M.2 Sata/Nvme ? or it will not work ?

Only upto 512gb sata is recommended. you can use go till 1 or 2 tb check the info below.
