So I bought a brand new Acer Swift 3 from last year and ever since  I am experiencing lag from small things like from opening a folder, clicking the windows icon to huge problems like laggy experiences in chrome. Specs are:
Ryzen 5 3500u
Radeon Vega Graphics
4GB RAM

I am really not familiar from all of these stuff but I wanted to know whats wrong with my brand new laptop. And what do i need to upgrade if ever it needs to be done.

Also give us an idea of what you have for storage... Is your system partition on a HDD or SSD? What size and how full?
Hi, my storage is only a 1TB HDD and i only used up almost a 100GB
you have lot of storage left then, try a factory reset it should help you.

also try to increase virtual memory by windows key and pause break key. the size has to be 3times more of your ram size.

before you upgrade it. try few steps. try to remove unwanted apps and programs. go to start and type run. type msconfig in run window, check the hide all ms services in services. then click on disable all. restart the unit.

If you want to do an upgrade, putting a SSD in will make a huge difference.
