Hi, I have an All-in-one Aspire Z3-715(KBL) desktop.  The camera is foggy, fuzzy, and not clear.  I deleted the driver under Cameras (USB2.0 FHD Camera) and rebooted the system. The same driver got installed and nothing has changed.  The photo quality settings on the camera app is on 2.1MP 16:9 (1920x1080) and the Video quality is on 1080p 16:9 30fps; these are the best settings available.  Appreciate your help to pinpoint the issue or what can be done to fix it.  I can't use the desktop for any video conferencing.

Hope you are checking in default camera app and not on 3rd party app. Is the lens clean. Check if it's watery r humidity effect. If still it happens. Try a reset. Is the app showing in device manager after deleting it?  Is it un installed r deleted?

May sure you do not delete the driver , you should uninstall it and restart the unit. So if you have deleted it than please do a reset on the unit

Jack22, thanks for your reply.  I mistakenly mentioned the word deleted, but I chose the available option "uninstall device".

Thanks Christy1 for your answer!  To correct myself, I chose "uninstall device" and not deleted the driver.  I never had a camera connected to the desktop, so I am assuming that I am dealing with the build in camera.  I see in Device Manager, one entry under "Cameras", USB2.0 FHD Camera.  Also, I see two entries, under "Imaging devices", HP LJ M278M281 (NET) and NPIE21D43 (HP Color LaserJet MFP M281 cdw); I am assuming that these two are related to the HP printer I have.  I am not sure where the built in camera will be listed under.  The camera app where I see a hazy picture, got it from searching on "camera"; and the "About this app" says 2020.504.60.0

Ok then either its faulty cam because of weather or try a factory reset.

If the lens isn't dirty it might be the light level. When in low light mode the camera does end up looking like that...

Unfortunately, the lens from outside is clean and the lighting is good. Not sure if the camera can be cleaned from inside; I never tried to open the AIO screen.  I did uninstall the driver then rebooted the system, finally I did a factory reset, with no luck.

Faulty cam. Now again it can be because of climate or humidity. Leak on frame or case. Just have a external cam and try using the internal cam after few days. If not it has to be repaired. Hope it's helpful.

Just I wanted to thank you all for your help!  I was able, with the help of some YouTube videos to open the AIO desktop and cleaned the camera.  It WORKED, and the camera became clear. :)
