Can I upgrade my laptop's (Aspire A514-53) processor?

Hi! I just bought my laptop this month. It's an Aspire A514-53. Its specs are:

• Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-1005G1 CPU @ 1.20GHz   1.19 GHz
• RAM: 4 GB (OB) + 8 GB (SO)
• Storage: 128 GB SSD + 1 TB HDD

I don't know much about laptops so I don't know what to do. I thought I could simultaneously open and use various apps without any problem if I upgrade the RAM so I went to Acer Store and bought an 8GB RAM. But earlier, while using a video editor app, my laptop kept lagging. When I checked the task manager, the CPU is being utilized 100%. It's the same when I open multiple apps and multiple tabs with my browser.
Are there less expensive ways to solve this problem? Or should I upgrade my laptop's processor? If I do, how much would it cost me?

Hi,
You can not upgrade the CPU, it's soldered to the motherboard, as for your CPU running at 100%, you can try this, go to BIOS screen, move to Main tab and press F9 button, press F10 to save and exit.
