Hi all, I’m an owner of an Orion 9000 with i9-7900X cpu (Skylake-X) and the X299 chipset.
I want upgrade to i9-10980XE, Intel says that all the X299 motherboards are compatible upgrading the bios with the proper microcode to recognize the new cpu.
Are Acer labs recompiling a new bios? I don’t want to change motherboard...

I don't believe so, at least I haven't heard or seen anything to indicate that they might.

And I really think that after only 3 years is a bit premature the EOL of this desktop...all the motherboard manufacturers have released the  bios with microcode updated months ago...
In the end, I’m really scared to be stuck just for a missing bios support...
Out of this community, are some of you aware of an official Acer Labs contact to complain about?
    Thanks
