...with the fans on Max speed, I've only had the laptop since August 2020.

Normally the fans will move from Max speed to Auto pretty quickly, but after the whining stopped they powered down quietly albeit took longer than normal for the RPM to go back to quiet speeds, is this something I should be concerned about and perhaps prepare to send it in for repair?
I turned it on again this morning, went to Max speed and back down, and although there was no noise, the RPM took longer than usual to slow down, perhaps an automatic response to the noise/fault last night?
The only thing I can think of is that I was playing Valheim, which seems to be quite unoptimized atm and the temperatures were a few degrees warmer than they usually would be gaming.

I use this laptop for university so I can't afford the downtime right now having it sent for repairs, so any ideas on what it could've been would help a lot, thanks :)
