How can I find out if my touchpad is Elan or Synaptic on Aspire 5 A514-54G

    Go to device manager by windows key and x. 
    Expand the “Mice and other pointing options” category. Check to see whether you have a “Synaptics” or “ELAN” input device.

    there are only writing " HID"
