Aspire vx15 with several problems.

Hey all. Had an aspire vx15 for several years, have had a few issues with it over the years. Dont know what's connected and what's not so I'll try to mention everything quickly. Have already had to repair the screen when the connector of the screen to the computer broke. Recently the screen started flickering on and off and started crackling/discoloring, before the backlight died off (could barely see screen very dark). Shortly thereafter the laptop completely died and now it will not turn on. When I hit the power button the keyboard lights up, then blinks once before powering off. Looks like power is getting to the laptop. I am using a universal charger and have been for about a month. any suggestions?

may be the unit is not charging,battery drained and so its not powering on as its not charging. you will have to check with local tech.
