I recently bought a new Bluetooth Speaker (Samsung AKG) for my laptop (Acer Swift 3, Windows 10). However whenver the speaker connects, after about a minute or so it automatically disconnects itself.

I have checked and my drivers are all up to date.

Thanks, in advance, any help on resolving this would be much appreicated.

The sounds is fine, it just disconnects after a minute or so. Yes - the bluetooth on the laptop disconnects with the device.

Try the below step and check
power drain: Just check the back of the unit, you can find a pin hole , unplug the charger and turn off the unit. now put a paper clip in the small pin hole and press and hold it for 30 sec.

BIOS default: power on the unit, but as soon as you power on the unit keep pressing the F2 key so that it take you to BIOS page. Press F9 and press Enter than press F10 and press Enter. the unit will restart

    This hasn't worked I'm afraid.

When I first connect the speaker it says "connected music". Then after a minute or it stops and says "Paired". I have the option to then click "Connect" but after a minute it disconnects again.

You might also check the Bluetooth device in Device Manager. There might be a 'turn this device off to save power' setting...

OK, next try checking the event log to see if any errors are thrown during the disconnect...
