Acer Aspire E series Optical Drive Compatibility Aspire E17 E5-721-64T8,

Hi, I have an Acer Aspire E17 E5-721-64T8, which like so many other laptops, came without an optical drive. Where the optical drive should be is a dummy placeholder part with a bracket and screw, and a sata connection to the motherboard. I have been searching for the appropriate drive that will fit without a lot of success. No one has been able to specifically tell me if there is an optical drive that is compatible for my laptop. So my question is, which other Acer Aspire E series laptop is similar enough in configuration that an optical drive for that laptop will fit into my laptop? Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide.

It takes a 9mm 'slim tray' type ODD. Google the part nos. shown below for factory installed drives or 9mm slim tray equivalents. Jack E/NJ
