I’ve bought this laptop for about a month now and on fps games such as warzone and fortnite the quality and fps is terrible I’ve tried many things such as updating all the drivers, messing around with the nividia control panel and the GeForce experience app but still it’s not going up, on fortnite I get around 40-50 fps on low setting which is just terrible and my ps4 did better, is there any solution to this as right now I’m thinking about giving this back

In the Nvidia control panel you can goto 3d settings and select the application and gpu that's used

If you open task manager while in a game it will be able to tell you which gpu is being used and how hard it's being pushed :)

@leostat I went onto task manager after loading up fortnite with just fortnite as a running app and in task manager under the performance tab it shows that my vega 8 graphics is being used around 70% and my gtx 1650 is only being used around 19%. My fortnite is using “gpu 0 (which is gtx 1650) but it’s only using 19% of the gtx 1650, how can I make that percentage higher?

This is a picture showing the performance of my gpu 0 and gpu 1 whilst fortnite is running, fortnite is using gpu 0 which is the gtx 1650 but is only using 18%, how do I solve that? Please let me know thanks

In menu the average is 18-19% and in game it’s around 40-50f% and the average cpu is around 90%, is that normal?

Hard to say wharts normal, whats the model number? Is it just the game which is eating the CPU, nothing like gamesbar / chrome open in the background / mem getting full?
