what are the proper steps I should follow now?- Acer nitro 5 an515-42

One moment my screen was all good, next moment I notice that there is a weird dark shadow on the guy in the video I was watching, realised what actually happened later. I seek your help in what are the basic steps I should follow to determine the point of failure and mitigate this issue, possible repairs I can do, I have worked on a fair number of laptops and pcs, I know my way around fixing computer stuff, but never fixed screen issues, this is a first. Support and warranty would be the obvious answer but the problem is that my documents of this laptop are in my room in Haryana, I bought it from Nehru place in Delhi and I am stuck at home in Jammu for a year now, cant make a lot of travel now. I need help because I don't know if this will stay this way or get progressively worse.

First go to the BIOS and check whether you see the same, if yes than it should be the display issue.
Try to uninstall the display driver from device manager and check. I hope the screen dont have crack because i dont think damages are covered with Acer but you can check with them. So if u need more info than call Acer support. check the below link for calling Acer

Thanks for replying, So i went to my BIOS and my screen was normal again( pic attached), but as soon as windows boots up this artifact came back
So what's the rub? Should i continue and uninstall the display driver from the device manager? Now I don't understand what the issue is, I assumed its a hardware problem but the screen was fine in BIOS.

Uninstall the display driver and restart the unit and check

Oh well, seems I was way quick to judge, I restarted it, and it's back now, and uninstalling drivers won't fix it either, it's visible even in the bios now(pic attached), Sooo what are the plausible problems? I'm at a total loss, either of the previous incidents may have been a fluke
