Blank black screen during Zoom calls: Acer Swift 3 14in i5 8GB 512GB FHD Laptop

I bought this laptop less than a month ago (on January 10th). Within a couple of weeks of owning it, the screen just started going completely blank and black whilst I was on work Zoom calls. The audio still worked and I could still hear my colleagues. They could still see and hear me. But I couldn't see them at all. It wasn't a result of clicking anything - it happened completely randomly. After a few minutes of this, me clicking random buttons on the keypad will get it to return. It's really disappointing as the majority of my work is done over Zoom, and I am now scared to make contributions because it is so disconcerting when it happens. Has anyone else had this issue? Are there any recommendations about how to prevent it? Thanks, Laura
