Aspire Z1-621 Memory & Disk Space Issues - Almost 100% - How to resolve?

Hi all, please can you help, I'm a basic user and this is not my expertise at all. I have an Aspire Z1-621 which I'm trying to improve from a memory & disk space side. Almost everyday this device slows down to almost to a stop and the memory and disk space is almost 100%, can anyone recommend how i resolve this? I have tried the usual things such as clearing the temp files, transferred all documents to an external hard drive and also completing a disk review and clear together with the congat work. I've also cleared the internet files. Can anyone help, should i get a new hard drive or PC? My PC has a 4GB memory and 931.51GB WD hard drive. To be honest its never been that quick!! thank you T

What OS are you running right now? Is it 32bit or 64bit? Your system came stock with a Hynix SO-DIMM DDR3L 1600MHz 4GB, and theoretically you can have an 8GB module in there, but if it's on a 32bit OS than the extra memory won't be usable. In that case you should be looking at what you have running in the background and try to slim it down by a bunch.
