Touchpad not working on Aspire A315-42-R76U with AMD Ryzen 7

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with my Aspire laptop, model A315-42-R76U with AMD Ryzen 7 chip.

My laptop is equipped with Windows 10.

I have read several thread about the topic and I tried to replicate the suggested solutions.

Specifically:

1. I tried to disable and enable again the touchpad;
2. I tried to update the drivers for the touchpad;
3. I tried to update the Firmware of the Bios to the last version.
4. Also I tried to update the IO serial driver for the laptop but unfortunately I can't, since my laptop has an AMD processor.
   

Unfortunately any of the above solution worked in my case.

Could you please help. Is there any other thing that I can try?

Hi,
You could try reinstalling Quick Access Application, go to Acer support and download Quick Access Application, then uninstall current installation in Control panel under Programs, without rebooting install the downloaded Application.
