Hey.
I recently bought an Acer monitor 144hz which Im trying to set up.
As Im using a HDMI cable, it seems to be limited to 60hz the performance of the screen, even though I configure it out the hardware to run to 144hz.
Is it possible to connect an adapter to DP from USB-C port in my laptop? Is there any way I can get the performance that Im aiming for with this laptop?
It seems that I bought a gaming monitor (its Acer XV270) for my Acer Nitro 5 that I can't fully use?
Can I have some help with this?
Thanks in advance!

Sorry, ACER usually only warrants 60Hz on external monitors. Some users have reported higher rates with some but not all monitors capable of higher rates. The USBC port usually doesn't natively support DP out but active USB-to-DP out adapters are available that do but again won't guarantee more than 60Hz refresh rates. Jack E/NJ
