My shift Key stopped working while gaming on an Acer Nitro 5 model : AN515-51-55WL

My shift key in my Acer Nitro 5 has been very inconsistent while gaming. It will work if I activate the chat button and type something, but it will not work when trying to use abilities using the shift button. That is the best description I could use. It is very sensitive, and very inconsistent, almost happening at random. I posted this same problem on a comment to another person's post about sticky keys, if you have already seen it. This is the second place I'm coming for help. I have tried almost everything. I have tried reinstalling the keyboard drivers. I have tried replacing the key, cleaning out underneath the key, trying to turn on and off sticky keys, updating windows, but everything to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
