I had an RMA:
Serial Number : NHQ5WAA00XXXXXXXXXXXX
Description : AN517-51-56YW-US W10HGML64NT/I5-9300H/BT/GTX 1650/8G/512GB PCI NVME/4L3.57/17.3
Warranty End Date : 06/05/2021
Problem Description : The laptop battery is not charging. I went though the support forums and tried steps listed in there. Removed power and then held power button for 15 sec and let laptop sit for a few hours. I removed the 2 drivers listed in the device manager and rebooted. Batter light on the side just blinks a steady amber\/orange color. :-(
CaseID : XXXXXXX
Then my wife had a bypass and extensive hospital stay.  I just got back around to sending this in.  It was delivered to Acer in Temple Texas Today.  I did not know that an RMA case could expire.  Can you please re-open and completed my repair or advise what I would need to do.  This device is still under warranty.

Hi PaulFlickner, i am very sorry to hear that your Acer Nitro product was not charging but I am glad you were able to connect with our support team via chat and someone is assisting you with this  ;) please keep in mind that the Acer Community is not a direct portal to customer service or technical support, the Acer Forum Discussions were designed as a peer to peer support community where Acer users help other Acer users. Many Acer employees (Moderators), read the various topics posted here and you will notice that some Acer employees interact with members when appropriate, primarily we want the community to be a place where members can exchange their own advice and ideas.

Thank you for your interest and participation in the Acer Support Forums,

    Acer-Manny
