I have an Acer Spin 3 and my internet connection at home is 400Mbps down and 20Mbps up. Anyway, when I connect to WiFi here at home I am getting around 300-350Mbps download speeds, but I have tried two difference network adapters, one USB 3.0 and the other USB-C (3.1) and with both I am getting under 100Mbps download speeds. Cat 5e cable and Gigabit Router. Any suggestions?

The only thing I can think of would be the design of the USB->Ethernet adapter. They may not be offloading the Ethernet encoding to a PHY and instead asking the processor to do the work. Do you see CPU usage spikes when trying a file transfer?
