Graphics Issues with my Aspire VX5-591G-52RU: Games have no visual output

Hello. I have been having major issues with my laptop and am looking for help. I run an Acer Aspire VX5-591G-52RU with:
Intel Core i5-7300HQ
Intel HD Graphics 630
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050
8GB RAM
Windows 10 Home 64-Bit

For a few weeks now I have been unable to start any games. The programs do start and in some cases I will even hear the music from the game menu (i.e. Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun or Kingdom Come: Deliverance) but will not see anything. The mouse cursor will sometimes change to that of the game, but I will still only see my desktop or steam or whatever I was seeing when starting the game. One game, Dead Cells, simply crashed giving me an error message (fully disclosed at the end of this post).

My drivers are all up to date according to the MS Device Manager. After some experimenting I found out, that if I completely disabled the GTX 1050 in the Device Manager I was getting a picture again when starting the games that would before not give me any graphics output. I suspect the problem occurs when my system tries switching from the on board Intel graphics to the dedicated NVIDIA graphics when starting a game. I have not found a way to fix this though. Forcing the games to use the  so I am hoping to get some help here. It would be greatly appreciated.

Error Message from Dead Cells:

When did you purchase this unit and when did it started happening, totally weird IMO and i am guessing you have tried the re-installing drivers from the support page? https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/7094?b=1
What BIOS version do you have currently?

    Thank you for answering!
Yes, I did completely uninstall and then reinstall the drivers from the support page.

One weird thing I have noticed since first posting: some games still work. It seems to be older games or those with low requirements (CS:GO, Star Wars: Republic Commando, Star Wars: Jedi Knight II). When starting these games I confirmed by looking at the Performance Tab of the Task Manager that they are running using the Graphics Card.

My BIOS version is "Insyde Corp. V1.06, 07.07.2017" according to the System Information Panel.

Saccharom well i would say a 1050 right now its kinda old to run some newer games at this point but sometimes the same happens with older ones because of the drivers incompatibility but try different older drivers see what it works the best the newest arent optimized for your gpu so newer doesnt always mean they are the best and some games with crashing/black screen issues you can usually find the answers at the game/dev forums  good luck :)

I know the Card is rather old. I only tried games that worked previously without issues though. They clearly should have worked as they had before.

I will try finding older drivers though. Maybe that will help.
