CB342CKC doesn't work with MacBook Air via USB C

Hi guys,

I bought this widescreen monitor. I thought I would be able to connect it with my MacBook Air (Intel, 2020) via USB C so I could also charge my computer, using just one USB-C cable.

Unfortunately it doesn't work. My mac doesn't detect the monitor and i get "no signal" error on the monitor.

Is it possible that this monitor is not compatible with the macOS? Or maybe I need a thunderbolt 3 cable instead of the one that they add to the monitor?

Has anyone had a similar problem? I would really appreciate your help.

I have the same issue but with an HP elitebook 840 G6. I have tried several cables (thunderbolt) and none of them work. I don't think its a compatibility issue with Mac.

Iven updated all the drivers as well and that didn't help.

Would be great if Acer can provide some support here.
