How can I get the stock audio drivers that came with my Acer Nitro 7 back? (Nitro AN715-51)

I was looking for a way to remove my background noise coming from my microphone and came across a video saying I need to download this Realtek audio driver. I downloaded it and I can no longer use the mic connected to my headphones. If anyone can help figure out how to use my mic or change back to the old Audio driver that would be great.

Remove existing driver on mic and let windows update find the necessary driver. Once driver is installed, disable driver and bios updates via windows update.

Would I got into device manager and select sound, video, and game controller, then realtek(r) audio and uninstall the device?

I tried but it keeps downloading the same driver I currently have, I want to get back to my old driver which allowed my mic to work.

In that case, uninstall and install the specific driver you want. Do you know the driver version so you can download it?

Well, I know which driver it is and I have the "Events" tab where it shows when I deleted my old driver, Im not sure if that can help me find which driver I have. I know Acer has the nitro 7 drivers on their website but they are all zip files and I don't know how to download/install those. Do you have a discord or any other messaging app so I could maybe send you a screenshot of the event tab?

You can save the screenshot to your desktop and drag and drop it into the message area to post it.

here is the image, as you can see that is when I deleted the audio driver and then installed the new one.

But i do not see it showing what driver was deleted. Your best bet would be to install the one from Acer site for your model.

Do you know how to install it if its a zip file? I downloaded it already but wasn't sure what to do with it since it was a zip file

Is there any exe in it? If there is no exe, you can pick the driver from local location.

I tried it but cant detect my headphones as a microphone. There used to be a popup which said "what device did you plug in" and It doesn't show up anymore. Ive tried installing that driver multiple times but I'm not sure what to do anymore

Try another device and see if that gets recognized. It could be a case of faulty headset too.
