what the difference between Ram's and what one should i get for gaming

 kcp426ss8/16 - Specs: DDR4, 2666MHz, Non-ECC, CL19, X8, 1.2V, Unbuffered, SODIMM, 260-pin, 1R, 16Gbit

    So the difference between those is the top is "single rank" whereas the second is "dual rank". In real world (and even more so on laptop) there is little differnce between the two. 

    In theory, dual rank ram sips more power, but can run a bit faster and cooler as the memory is half as dense, where as single rank uses less power and used to be more overclockable. But in the real world there is little difference.

    I would just go for the cheapest of the two if there is a price difference, there will be next to no differnce in FPS, the biggest effect is the latency (CL) and the frequency (mhz)
