Press and hold power button till machine shuts off. About 5 seconds. Then turn it back on and immediately start tapping the F2 key to enter the BIOS menu. Don't wait for the ACER logo to appear. Make sure the F12 and D2D boot options are enabled in the BIOS Main tab. Then press F10 to save settings and exit the BIOS menu. Then press and hold the power button again till the laptop shuts off.

You then have two choices. First is a full erase-everything cold boot factory reset. Turn the machine on and immediately press and hold the ALT key while tapping the F10 key. A menu should appear similar to what you may have been trying with the preparing auto repair option. I'd try this cold boot reset first.

If still no joy, then shut the machine off again and insert the bootable Win10 installation stick prepared with Microsoft's media creation tool. Then turn the machine on and immediately start tapping the F12 key. A menu should appear which allows you to boot from the Win10 installation. Follow directions to re-install Win10.
