So recently, whenever my laptop has been randomly disconnected from the home wifi and I couldn't reconnect for the next couple of hours. I tried:
1. Turn on and off both the router and my laptop
2. Restore windows update
3. Reset my entire laptop
I also tried a bunch of methods on the internet like uninstall and reinstall the adapter and updated my drivers as well but it still happens. However, when I connect to public wifi like Starbuck, it works as usual. Anyone know how to fix this. My laptop model is Acer Swift 1 sf114- 32. Thank you

There must be something wrong with your home internet and your modems WiFi? Which provider and modem model do you have? Try using an Ethernet cable and plugging it into the SF114 - 32 RJ45 plug and see if your internet works 100%? Ask your internet provider or modem manufacturer for guides and diagnostic steps to take to fix your problem, as there is nothing wrong with your WiFi card on your SF114 - 32 if it works in "public wifi like Starbuck or some cafe".

The thing is my phone and my roommate Macbook work normally without any problem. Then wifi disconnection only happens when I play game, particularly League of Legends

What router do you have? Which WiFi technology is used on your laptop, phone and Mac? 802.11g, n, ac, ax? 2.4GHz, 5GHz?

I'm using Arris Surfboard sbg6580 router. For the laptop, it has wifi 4 802.11n  with 2.4 GHz

OK, so the router is doing 802.11n at 2.4GHz. Your SF114-32 supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac so the n protocol should work fine, albeit slower than ac would be. They don't seem to have ever done any firmware updates on the router, so that's not it... Which drivers are you using on the WiFi on your laptop? I can't think of anything off hand in the game that would be different from other internet use.
